Long Island Rail Road Offering Extra Weekend Train Service during Holiday Season for Your Shopping, Dining, Sightseeing and Entertainment Pleasure

If your plans for the holiday season includes a trip to New York City for shopping, dining, sightseeing or the theater, then MTA Long Island Rail Road has just made the trip a little easier. Beginning this Saturday and Sunday, November 28-20 and continuing through the first weekend of the New Year, the LIRR is adding four extra westbound trains and six extra eastbound trains to its regular weekend service.
